Go through these items multiple times until you have the bare minimum, and save the rest for implementation later. If you have more room, you may go back for the other essentials later.

Small apartments may not have a lot of closet or cabinet space, so you’ll need to get creative with making room for your belongings. Look at the largest items in the room and think of a way to make more space.
For example, you could loft your bed so that more items will fit underneath it, such as storage crates or a short dresser drawer. Hanging baskets are also suitable for making space for things when you don’t want them on the floor.
Multi-Functional Furniture Is a Big Help
When you go furniture shopping, you should look for items that may act like two pieces of furniture. If you remove the drawer, a dresser could act as a shelf, or a stool could serve as a nightstand by your bed.
You will need to think outside the box when you move into a small apartment, and you will need to look for things that will give you the space you lack.
Add Visuals To Make It More Enjoyable
Although it’s nice to live away from campus and have your own space, it may feel lonely. Plants are a great way to help you feel less alone and make the small space feel welcoming. Use flowers and plants with a pleasant scent, like peppermint, to make the area more enjoyable.
Moving into a small apartment is a hassle and requires a lot of thought. But using these tips will help you make the move feel comfortable.
