Public libraries offer more than just books to the communities they serve.

Libraries take on the cost of the subscription or membership themselves and allow their library members to log in to these sites and collect the information they need.
For students or professionals writing academic papers, library services that remove the cost barrier to the research and information they need are invaluable. Librarians are also specially trained to help individuals find the exact information they need, both online and on the bookshelves.
